I tried to run the program published in "Action Game 38" published by ASCII Publishing Bureau in 1984 on "MSX0 Stack" released in 2023.
01. Arsonist
This is a game where you set fire to a building while trying not to get caught by a police car by moving only left and right.
02. Skydiving
After jumping off the plane, you only move left and right, and then you land on an island by riding the wind.
>03. Bank Panic
It´s a fun game where you take turns going to the bank while trying not to get caught by the police car, but it´s difficult to know how close you can get to the police car.
>04. wine barrel Rolling
The game involves returning all the barrels to the end of the upper level, but I don´t really know how to beat the game or how to play it.
>05. Magnetic Planet
You bounce the short sticks off and drop them into the river, but if you get too close the long sticks stick together and you lose points. But I can´t quite figure out the subtle difference in length.
>06. Throw a Grenade!
You won´t be shot if you get within three squares of the enemy´s range, but the game is over in that moment.
>07. Tank-2
This is a game for two players. The second player is at the bottom right, but he won´t appear unless you operate him. I played it a lot back then and had a lot of fun.
>08. BOMB-X
This is a game where you drop bombs on targets from a bomber without hitting the clouds. You can adjust the speed of the bomber by using the left and right buttons, but it´s a fun game even if you don´t.
>09. Interstellar War
This is a game where you shoot down missiles with missiles. It´s simple but fun.
>10. Pursuit, Tank Battle!
This is a simple game where you battle a computer. The enemies move randomly, so it´s hard to defeat them.
>11. Berlin Wall
Your ship is at the bottom, and you can´t attack unless you destroy the wall, but enemy bullets penetrate it. It´s pretty fun, but the title is not modern.
>12. Hunting Game
A game where you shoot birds before they reach the left edge. The processing speed is slow, but the laser cannons that fire from two places are worth a look. Birds that are shot are completely charred and appear to have disappeared.
>13. JUMP-JUMP
Not only do you move left and right, but you also have to press the buttons at the same time to jump. After programming, I thought it was a program mistake until I reread the instructions.
>14. Balloon Attack
This is a game where you hit balloons that come from the right, but for some reason you move upwards, so it´s pretty difficult.
>15. Limestone Cave
It´s pretty slow and pretty difficult to control. My score has dropped from 800, but it doesn´t seem like anything will happen if it gets to zero. It seems like the scroll speed increases when you change levels, but you need to change it in the program.
>16. Driving Game
If you hit a wall three times or step on a nail, the game is over. It´s a fun game with a reasonable processing speed, but it´s a bit hard to see the nails.
>17. Balloon Guy´s Great Adventure
This was the shortest program, so it was one of the games I played by typing it out when I was still in junior high school. Black balloons are bonuses, and white are bombs. You can only move left and right.
>18. Ski Game PART 1
You can only move with the left and right keys in this game, and you have to capture as many flags as possible within the time limit. The reason you don´t change direction at first is because your keystrokes were the opposite of what you expected.
>19. Ski Game PART 2
If you fail to capture the flag with a single keystroke, the game is over.
>20. Sticks from the bush
"Sticks from the bush" is a Japanese proverb that indicates something is abrupt. You can only move left and right in this game, and you have to avoid sticks that come out of the bush. While playing, I noticed that if you go all the way to the right, you go to the next level.
>21. Black Hole Sweeper
Throw debris into a black hole while avoiding touching the mines.
>22. Passing Road
A game where you cross the road while watching out for cars. You can move up, down, left and right. It´s not that difficult, but I can´t see the cars. Maybe I should change the color.
>23. Emergency Port Entry Game
A game where you enter the port while avoiding islands and moving mines. The mines move too randomly, but it´s a fun game. I omitted the second level because I wanted to show the game over.
>24. The Great Wall
This is a game where you repair the blocks that are falling apart, but unfortunately there is no sense of accomplishment. Hmm, it´s difficult to introduce.
>25. The Great Crossing Operation
You can only move down, and you have to keep the main character, a "fly", from becoming prey to a procession of "ants". It´s pretty difficult.
>26. Human Hunting
This is a typing game with a surreal name. You shoot gangsters by typing, and rescue women with the space bar.
>27. A Day in the Life of a Mole
Unfortunately, I have no sense for typing games, so I can´t properly convey how fun it is.
>28. Snake Charmer
This is a game where you control a snake and get * marks. It´s fun, but it´s pretty difficult, so I couldn´t take a long video.
>29. Vector Game
It´s a two-player game, so I couldn´t test it out properly, and the beginning of the vectors are still numbers. My friends and I got into it when we were in middle school.
>30. Flag-raising game
It´s a game that uses function keys, but I assigned normal keys for MSX0. I´m not good at this game, so I´m not sure if it´s working properly.
>31. 100m sprint
You run by tapping left and right alternately. By the way, I forgot that MSX can output "seconds" even without a kanji ROM, so I wrote it in English.
>32. Don´t press
This is a game where you tap repeatedly. It´s difficult to win while recording. You can´t win unless you tap repeatedly in a very spasmodic manner.
>33. Car game
This is a racing game where you just tap repeatedly. It´s a very simple and good game. But maybe it´s too simple now.
>34. Diamond Hunt
Press the button repeatedly to dig a hole. If you don´t hurry, it will fill up, but if you touch a bomb, it´s game over. This was the first game I ever played on a PC.
>35. Block Attack
In a word, it´s a block breaker. It´s difficult because the movement of the player´s ship (?) is slow. I don´t have the sense to play this kind of game.
>36. Battle of Heijo-kyo
This is a game where you press the space bar five times to make a hole in the ground, and drop an alien into it. It was my first time playing, but it was quite fun.
>37. The Block Army´s Counterattack
It´s like an invader, but when you shoot them down they turn into bullets and fly away. It´s pretty fun.
>38. Tennis Game
This is a game where you control a snake and get * marks. It´s fun, but it´s pretty difficult, so I couldn´t take a long video.
